Veritas Academy | Wayland, MA

Educational Institute 

 

Adhering to a very tight timeline to complete construction prior to school opening in the fall, the Veritas Academy project included the renovation of the existing science classroom inclusive of a separate lecture area and science lab. We installed new flooring, ceilings, lab casework and HVAC system with an Energy Recovery Unit and heat pump. Then, we built a new classroom in a balcony area of an existing sanctuary complete with skylights to bring natural lighting into the area to optimize the learning experience.   

Ledgemont – GMTI | Lexington, MA

Garage Modifications and Tenant Improvements

 

The Ledgemont – GTMI project consisted of converting a parking garage into two separate lab spaces. We installed a 2-hour fire separation between the newly habitable space along with an integrated vibration isolation system to completely segregate the upper level parking areas from the occupied space. Then we installed HVAC, electrical, plumbing, RODI and PH adjustment systems. In addition, we constructed a vivarium lab for one of the tenants. Sections of exterior walls were removed to install new glass storefront system. Exterior upgrades include new sidewalks, stairs, new planting areas, retaining walls and lighting.

SDA - Stoneham | Stoneham, MA

Religious Project

 

The SDA project included the conversion of an older church building into a fully renovated, handicap accessible and modernized building. We installed new fire alarm, fire protection and 3-phase electrical service systems to properly service and protect the building and its inhabitants.  We widened doorways, created new enlarged HP toilet rooms, renovated common spaces with upgraded finishes and created an egress from the lower level. The project also included a new addition to house a new elevator and stairwell along with handicap ramp into the church.

30 B Street | Boston, MA

Multifamily

 

The 30 B Street project included the demolition of three existing structures and the construction of a new 5-story building containing 32 condominium units and 33 parking spaces.

Ardent Mills | Ayer, MA

Commercial Project 

 

The Ardent Mills project consisted of constructing a concrete and steel addition on the roof of an 8-story mill to house a boiler used to heat preprocessed wheat within an operating wheat processing plant. In addition, it required installing redundant, integrated boiler systems.  Due to the low flash threshold of the processed wheat, safety was of utmost importance to all parties. Hence, we jointly developed and implemented specific safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment, in turn exceeding client expectations throughout the process. 

Orig3n Lab | Boston, MA

Life Sciences

 

The Orig3n Lab project included a renovation and expanded facility to provide state-of-the-art functionality to sustain collaborative research programs that support ORIG3N's product development and commercial activities.

Ligris LLP | Newton, MA

Office Interior Renovation

 

Taking into consideration the needs, concerns and functions associated to an active law firm, we paid special attention to construction, communication and safety procedures for this renovation project to minimize interruptions to daily activities.  We also paid very close attention to facilitate this complete renovation of their existing space. The 15,000 square foot renovation included the completion of a new kitchen and consolidated workspaces all with new fixtures and furnishings. 

Symphony Residences | Boston, MA

Multifamily

 

The upcoming Symphony Residences project will include 17 market-rate condominiums and 3 on-site affordable condominiums. It will include basement parking for 11 vehicles, to be easily accessed from the public alley at the rear of the building. All floors of the building will be elevator accessible. Construction of Symphony Residences project is estimated for completion within 12-18 months from groundbreaking.  

Coldwell Bank Office | Boston, MA

Commercial Project 

 

The Coldwell Banker project located on Boylston Street in Boston, MA consisted of taking a white box space and converting it to a high end office for the Coldwell Banker’s Boston Sales Team. This fast-tracked project included installing a top of the line lighting package with a wide variety of specialty fixtures, beautiful millwork features including walnut feature walls and a stunning marble reception desk. This, along with engineered walnut flooring and unique glass systems, made this space a showcase for the highly trafficked Boston sales office.
